I worked on an event for the Australian premiere of Avatar: The Way of Water to create an immersive environment with the brief being "all things blue and water."
Disney AU provided a trailer from which we could only extract still frames and recreate assets in order to develop an Avatar themed immersive environment.
I pulled out stills from the trailer that had lots of environment elements to work with and then matte painted the rest to match.
